I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and completed a one-year internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island. After two years of mixed animal practice in Alberta and Manitoba, I moved to Guelph for a residency in veterinary anesthesiology, where I completed a three-year clinical residency and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Science degree. My research focused on epidural analgesia in dogs.
Since then, I've practiced in Manitoba, doing general small animal practice while also pursuing my interest in veterinary anesthesia through referral cases, consulting, and teaching. I joined the team at Tuxedo Animal Hospital in 2017.
In my spare time, I enjoy cross-country skiing, hiking, gardening, horseback riding, and spending time with my family.
