Leigh, RVT

My name is Leigh and I am an RVT here at Tuxedo Animak Hospital. After 28 years of being an RVT (RRC Animal Health Technology class of '96) I still find joy and passion in my career. I strive to support our furry (and not so furry) companions from their very first visit to their very last goodbye. It is a great privilege to earn the trust of these fur babies and their human parents. The human-animal bond is a beautiful, precious thing.

I have 5 special fur kids who are integral members of my family. Gaia, a squirrel loving, bug hating 9-year-old standard poodle. Loa, a frisbee loving, fishing enthusiast 3-year-old standard poodle.  Jake Perolta, a goofy snow loving, heroic blood donor 6-year-old shepherd cross rescue. My 8-year-old masters of the universe, I mean kitties.  Todd a toque hunter extraordinaire and Kylo Ren master container opener.

I am also the proud mom of 2 grown boys of the human variety. They both share my love of all things: animal and nature. I love reading, traveling to far off places with my husband, and spending time with my family.
