I've been with Tuxedo Animal Hospital since 2019 and have been working with animals in both shelter and clinic environments since 2015. I love that being an RVT allows me to help both animals and people by making sure that beloved pets get the care they need. I appreciate the variety of responsibilities that come with being an RVT—from administering and monitoring anesthesia to doing lab work and phlebotomy, to comforting a puppy at their first visit. I’m also passionate about providing a fear-free vet visit for all animals.
Growing up, I spent almost 17 years with my family’s Shih Tzu, Tess, who inspired me to become an RVT. I’ve fostered a few kittens and have since adopted my cat, Vinny, who brings me joy every day. I hope to foster (and maybe even adopt) more animals in the near future.
